The Grampians Peaks Trail is one of Victoria’s proposed icon long distance hiking trails. The first section is now complete – a 38 km, 3 day/2 night circuit departing from Halls Gap.

Hi Greg. Hows the water situation on the section built so far? Do they have tanks available at campsites?
Hi Jason. We found water in the rain water tanks located at both camping sites – Bugiga and Borough Huts. We also filtered water from a number of creeks we crossed (using our Sawyer filter). However, keep in mind that we went in October after some good spring rains. Cheers Greg.
